Wit was born on July 2, 1964 in Santa Cruz California to Tadeauz and Charlotte Woliczko. He was the first of the family to be a native born American. Wit went to Santa Cruz High School then Cabrillo College where he studied Electronics and Music.
Wit started to learn the Violin and the Piano when he was five years old. He was the youngest to become a member of the Santa Cruz Youth Symphony where he played Violin for 9 years.
Wit the Composer Putting his passion of writing and composing aside for years he found his life not as fulfilling. With a newfound fervor for music, Wit is reclaiming his creative talent. Wit is an artist who incorporates his musical influences of Rock, Classical, and New Age with a Zen style of poetic lyrics. Wit is creating a new art (Zen Rock). With this synergy of disciplines that is thought provoking and complex, he is leaving his imprint on American Music.
Wit the Singer/Performer Though Wit plays many instruments and styles, he enjoys singing Rock the most. Wit’s vocal style ranges from (what is called) overtone singing, harmonic singing to the style of Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin.
Wit the Author In addition to composing and performing rock, Wit is a popular poet. He started emailing his poetry and observations titled "Secrets to the Universe" to a small group of friends. From these meager beginnings, he slowly built a loyal following that grew exponentially. His thought-provoking (sometimes controversial) observations of the Universe, which he transfers into poetry and inspirational thought, and lyrics, inspire his readers to a newfound enjoyment for life as well as discovery.
Nicknamed, The Observer, One cannot box Wit into one category.
Wit is a playwright and screenwriter. He is also an actor.
Wit now resides with his wife, five cats, and a dove, in Northern California, where he performs, acts, writes, and composes.
Trivia about Wit. Wit moved from Santa Cruz California to Sacramento California in 1986 where he worked as a bartender, cocktailer, and DJ for the poplar nightclub chain Confetti. This is where Wit came out of his introverted shell and performed various dance routines for the nightclub.
One time Wit was taking an order from a customer. Because the nightclub was so loud, Wit got the order wrong. Wit tasted the concoction and liked it. Checking the bartender guides at the time confirmed, there was no name for the drink. So, the drink was named Witums. It became one of the popular drinks in the Nightclub.
A Witums is 1 oz. Bacardi 151 and 3/4 oz. Amaretto. Chilled and served up.

The President
“The President” by Wit – A Review
Now here’s an interesting song, a song that re-examines the idealistic embodiment of the office of the President of the United States. Something most people would agree has been missing from our current political arena. “The President” is certainly not something that I expected, but I’m happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised by Wit.
The six minute track by the artist known as Wit, takes an honest look at the Presidential position from two different view points: One of a child who dreams of one day being the President of the United States and the second of a man becoming President who seems uncorrupted by the typical political power that compromises a man prior to his achieving the office.
To categorize “The President” as a simple pop song is doing it a great injustice. “The President” boldly stands out on its own as art, while maintaining the equilibrium between left and right, conscious and subconscious, the circus and the serious, the harmonious and the dissident, the weak and the strong; all of this being superimposed with and innocent naiveté. “The President” is a symbolic ideal that becomes a larger truth.
“The President” seems to be a song of hope, even if it seems like an unbelievable idea. I mean who becomes the President of the United States without a hidden agenda? Well, Wit gives us a look at the possibility of seeing a man who has the cajones to stand up for what the office expects. Now, who wouldn’t love to see this song in action?
