- My wife and I became interested in the German Shepherd breed some time ago. We researched the breed extensively and decided we wanted to go with the West German Shepherd lines. Our goal was to select the best possible dogs for breeding. We have selected only from the bloodlines with the best health, temperaments, and show quality dogs available. We then built a personal kennel, with indoor and outdoor runs which would provide our dogs with excellent living conditions. My wife has been a Police Officer for several years as well as myself. I retired as a Director of Public Safety a few years ago and now run a Police Academy at our local Community College. We built a new customized personal kennel in 2005 at which time we added two large exercise runs so our dogs have plenty of room to run daily. The kennel has inside runs with a grooming and training area. Since beginning our kennel we have included imported European working lines. Due to our relationship and interest with law enforcement we strive to provide top quality dogs for police work. These working lines are specifically bread to produce high drive, tracking, protection, and scent working dogs.
