ISI was founded as a consulting company and transitioned into an independent software vendor focused on supporting IT infrastructure assessments. ISI-Snapshot was built to quickly and efficiently collect the current state of the IT Infrastructure leveraging the IP network. ISI-Snapshot can be used in variety of discovery, inventory, change or steady-state management initiatives.
Infrastructure Solutions Inc. is a leading provider of agent-less tools for discovery; inventory; monitoring and resource utilization; and consolidation analysis, planning and design; for distributed and open systems including hosts, operating systems, applications and storage infrastructures. ISI-Snapshot provides both breadth and depth in inventory and configuration support across the enterprise for servers and their peripheral devices such as host bus adapters, storage devices such as SAN switches and storage arrays, network infrastructure devices such as switches and routers, and IP Phones.
ISI’s applications and the processes that can be driven from them facilitate strong synergies with asset and configuration management initiatives as well as IT Optimization projects such as server consolidation, data center consolidations and pre/post-project infrastructure assessments. ISI-Snapshot is a “light-weight and portable” application for the collection of hardware and software configuration data for physical and virtual IT infrastructure.
