Raye and Shelly Isenberg are licensed and board certified diplomates in clinical social work with advanced training in individual, couple, family and group dynamics. In practice together since 1974, we have been married for 40 years and have raised a family together. We know something about working out the problems of living. Isenberg and Associates has evolved from the Isenberg practice into a flexible association of counseling practitioners who have chosen to associate their independent practices together for purposes of providing counseling services that benefits their clients, practice development and business pragmatics. We provide a full range of psychotherapy and consultation services at our offices in downtown Naperville. Most of us at Isenberg and Associates also have Allied Health privileges at Linden Oaks at Edward Hospital. For 30 years, Isenberg and Associates has enjoyed a reputation within the community for quality professional services.
Sheldon Isenberg, LCSW, BCD co-founded Isenberg and Associates and has been in private practice since 1969. Licensed and a Board Certified Clinical Social Worker he is also a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Shelly has a full practice involving a range of issues from depression, anxiety and life disruptions, such as divorce, affairs, medical issues to life transitions of a more adult developmental level such as aging, career and commitments. He sees many young couples as well as couples at mid-life with the varying issues they face making a life together. While highly trained to understand internal psychological issues Shelly also has a rich family orientation which leads him to give careful attention to his clients' relational problems and needs. In recent years he has experienced a growing number of people coming to him with business issues that are stressing them personally and who wish to privately consult with an objective professional. Given his interest in the issues of professional practices and his own successful practice development and maintenance over the years he has also enjoyed consulting with other professionals in attaining personal practice satisfaction.
