The UNIDO Iraq network of Enterprise Development Centers
Description
pulled from site's meta descriptionSince 2007, with the financial support of the Italian Cooperation for Development, through voluntary contribution, UNIDO has been working with public institutions in Iraq with mandate to support the private sector, particularly small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and aimed to enhance their capacities by facilitating the creation and upgrading of Iraqi enterprises. To meet these ends, Enterprise Development Centres (EDCs) were established in the governorates of Baghdad, Thi-Qar, Erbil and Basra hosted within the counterpart institutions.
