A decision was made in Feb., 2002 (Bahman 1380) to run Iran Animation site after browsing in the internet for a long time to find a source site about Iran animation (and not finding any). In April 2002 (Farvardin 1381) the first gathered information was uploaded on the site and a trend was set for gathering information about Iran animation in the past and present, Iranian animators, methods of animation and creating a situation for Iranian animators to get to know each other as much as possible in a friendly atmosphere and exchange information and ....
The site is concerned with all issues related to animation; and it is to a great extent dependent on your sending past and present animation information, interviews, articles and other materials to the site.
This site is created by Madjid Jamali on the basis of an original thought of gathering animation information, and with an average of 2 hours of work per day he has been able to gather the present collection of information on the site; and hopes to persuade official centers of Iran animation production into a healthy competition for offering Iran animation information to those who are fond of Iran animation.
