Title

Irish Peatland Conservation Council - Home Page

Description

We were established in 1982 to campaign for the conservation of a representative sample of living intact Irish bogs and peatlands as part of Ireland's heritage.

We believe that Ireland's remaining peatlands should be treated as a precious resource that cannot be replaced, and that a representative sample should therefore be protected.

Our activities include education and publicity, promoting environmental awareness, provision of information and encouraging the protection and conservation of our national heritage for the common good.
