Lucid Confusion is another of many in the long line of Internet journals or weblogs. The title was born of a quandary when deciding the name of a color. That color is much like the deep, rich blue you see in the upper left of this page. It is dark and mysterious, yet beautiful in its uncertainty. It is the color of midnight, that hour between the realities of consciousness and the idealism of dreams.
This oxymoronic condition describes my inquisitive attempts to place some lucidity into the confusion that is day to day living. Terminal uniqueness is a myth, yet it is a box I sometimes find myself trapped within. Maybe you have too. I will share my experiences with alcoholism and recovery, coping with depression, facing life's challenges head on and a day at a time. It won't be for everyone, sometimes it's very dark inside that box. Other days are filled with enlightenment and discovery, so take what you want for yourself and leave the rest behind.
The site itself is very straightforward. The most current journal entry will always be found on the entry page. As more content is developed, previous entries will be aged to the historical archives. Many of you may know of me, and Lucid Confusion, from my other site. Older archives may be found there. The Links page contains online slices of life from other individuals that I find engaging and entertaining, and About is where you are now. There will likely be special projects in the future, so stay tuned.
