Description
Jan was originally trained as a drama teacher and this was followed by a number of years in Youth and Social Work. She has extensive experience as a group facilitator in academic, corporate and personal development training. For many years she worked in both Further and Higher Education developing and delivering courses for professional workers in the care sector.
As a UKCP registered psychotherapist she has private practices in London (W1), Bath (Monkton Combe) and Wiltshire. She trained at the Centre for Transpersonal Psychology (CTP) in London, a training which allowed her to combine her interest in Jungian psychology and her ever evolving spiritual path located in Tibetan Buddhism. Jan is now the Director of Curriculum Development at the CTP.
Jan is also a Level 1 practitioner in EMDR therapy – a technique for working with stress and trauma. She also works as a counselling professional consultant to CPCAB – the UK’s leading Counselling Awarding Body.
