Parts of the site has been developed with the XPublish XML publishing system, and most content of the site is XML or XML-extended HTML that is processed into standard HTML at serving time by Interaction.

This site is served by a Mac PPC 7100/66 over a medium bandwidth DSL connection (512kb). The hardware cost less than $1000, and the connectivity less than $200/month. This demonstrates that you can host even commercial sites with Interaction for a very reasonable price. Even with such low-end equipment, this server is able to provide ten-thousands of hits a day. Recent Mac PowerPCs are easily able to fill the capacity of a T1 connection or better.
