- Immun System was founded by researchers from Uppsala University and the Swedish University of Agriculture in 1983. We are based in Uppsala, about 70 km north of Stockholm, the Swedish capital. We specialise in producing antibodies in chicken and then isolate the antibodies from the eggs of the immunised birds. This method is advantageous in that there is no need to bleed the animal. The antibodies are delivered in the form of IgY fractions free from serum proteins.
