- For many years, new immigrants to the United States have been misinformed, embezzled and denied opportunities because of lack of creditable publications geared towards new immigrants. The conditions of the industry today is such that most local magazines or newspaper concentrate on entertainment rather than educational and economic empowerment. We at the Immigrant Journal believe that we can deliver reliable information services to the community. The Immigrant's Journal has been developed to serve as a forum to share information and analysis, to educate our diverse communities, and to develop and coordinate plans of action on the important issues pertinent to our development in New York City. We work to promote a just and race neutral immigrants and refugees, regardless of immigration status.
