Image Church
IMAGE began as a vision to reach a group of people that were searching for something more, that vision is now being lived out. April 2, 2006 Image gathered for our 1st worship service and saw God work in a truly miraculous way. The group of people that gathered shared the same vision, dreams, and passion for reaching a world that is in need of Jesus Christ.
The desire of Image is to see people lead lives of worship, live in community with other believers, and serve the church and the world by being and making disciples.
Worship People who love God / Matthew 22:37-38
And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. [ESV] Our weekly Gathering on Sunday, is designed to help us lead lives of worship. We worship together as one body, so that we go and live a life that exemplifies worship to God. We worship God together through relevant music that glorifies Him, through practical Bible teaching, and through giving…all in an engaging atmosphere. We have I-Kids for ages K-6. This is where our children gather for worship each Sunday. Nursery and Pre-school also provide an atmosphere for the next generation to experience worship together on their level.
Community People who love others / Matthew 22:39
And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. [ESV] Our weekly Image Communities, throughout the week lead us to experience life with one another. No one should have to go through life alone; so we have community groups to build healthy, meaningful relationships with others.
Service People who meet the needs of others by being and making disciples / Matthew 28:19-20
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." [ESV] Our weekly focus leads us to lives of service. We believe Christ commands us to serve others by reaching within the church, and definitely outside the church. Our passion and ultimate goal is to make disciples – fully devoted followers of Jesus.
