The Insect Farming and Trading Agency has been in operation in Bulolo, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea, since 1978. It is an innovative fauna ranching project designed to help local villagers generate income in a way that not only promotes active care of the environment, but also addresses a range of social issues, while supplying museums, researchers, and collectors all over the world with insects of the highest quality.
