International Dolphin Watch (IDW) was founded by Dr Horace Dobbs in 1978 in England. It is a non-profit organisation for the study and conservation of dolphins.
"Above all else, IDW IS THE MEMBERS. Each and every member has a reason for joining and supporting us and becomes part of a global network." says Horace. "I want to attempt to retain the friendly family feeling that those of us in Ferriby have with our members". (Ferriby is a small village in the north east of England on the River Humber within 2 miles of the famous Humber Bridge).
