Description
IdeaMarketers is a media-matching service created in December of 1998, by Marnie Pehrson. It unites writers and publishers. Writers can post their articles for free to be featured on the site. They're stored in a searchable database. Publishers, webmasters and ezine editors can then come in and find content. There's a link on every article that you can click on and request permission from the author to use the article. The author can then accept or reject the request. The answer is almost always yes, because that's why they put the article on the site anyway! The general custom is that you get permission and then you can publish the article as long as you use the author's bio/contact/link information.
An average of about 8,000 new articles are added each month to IdeaMarketers. Currently we have over 138,000 articles in our database.
Articles on the home page and channel pages of IdeaMarketers are sorted from highest to lowest "bidder." Bidding on IdeaMarketers is a set-your-own-pricing model where each person may decide how much they're willing to pay for prominent placement on the site. You can see what other people paid when you are deciding how much you're willing to pay and then "bid" accordingly.
