- Originally from New York, Oma is the Artistic Director of Culture Shock Dance Troupe� United Kingdom. He has appeared in Italy with Oumar Camera�s Compania di Afro Danza, and the U.S. with Jazz Unlimited, Black Mountain Dance, Southern California Youth Ballet, and the International Festival Ballet, under Erling Sunde. Omar has received critical commendation for acting and his theatre credits include Dreamgirls, Hair, Good News, Oliver, Oklahoma, TV Commercials, and Videos. Omar was resident choreographer of The San Diego Links and has recently won for a Tommy award for his comedy dance role in Cinderella. Omar has taught at the prestigious Black Mountain Dance Centre and Chula Vista High School. Omar teaches Hip-Hop, Street Dance, Jazz Dance, Ballet, Basic B-boy, Basic Popping and Locking.
