On behalf of the ICCAD 2006 Executive and Technical Program Committees, I welcome you to the web site for ICCAD, the premier technical conference for electronic design technology and automation.
ICCAD is distinguished with a select and excellent technical program. The paper review process is rigorous. Top notch researchers are invited to review and evaluate the submissions. The authors of accepted papers then revise and submit journal-quality final manuscripts. Our technical presentation at the conferences undergo a review process by our session moderators as well. Our technical program is enhanced with keynote speakers, a panel, and tutorials embedded within the technical program focusing on up and coming hot topics. ICCAD also offers top quality tutorials delivered by distinguished researchers.
ICCAD focuses on the pressing problems of today's IC designs such as power and variability, as well as the challenges of future technologies. The program addresses both physical design and system-level issues. ICCAD links design technology with design automation, and offers a few sessions focused on new technology and design trends. In addition, ICCAD recently expanded its focus to include emerging technologies such as carbon nanotubes, molecular transistors, spin-based and single electron devices, DNA-based computing, electro-chemical components, MEMS, and the integration in sensor systems and biochips.
