After 15 years at the forefront of British and international photography, Ian Jones's work is familiar to millions around the world and has earned him many of the industry's top awards - including News Photographer of the Year and Royal Photographer of the Decade.

Since joining The Daily Telegraph in 1992, Ian has worked in more than 100 countries covering all the major national and world stories during that time. From Afghanistan to Iraq - where he was embedded with 16 Air Assault Brigade - to general elections and state occasions, Ian has worked in every situation imaginable.

It was Ian who was invited to take the official Royal Family portrait of Prince William's confirmation in Windsor Castle. He was subsequently invited to spend five months working alongside Prince William at Eton to produce a memorable portfolio of photographs to mark the Prince's 18th birthday. When the Queen granted the BBC exclusive access to Windsor Castle for the 2005 hit documentary series, The Queen's Castle, Ian was invited to join the production and take the stills which appeared in magazines and newspapers around the world.
