History of Hydro-Ventures
Hydro-Ventures was founded in 1993 by Robert Sainte, President and Owner, as a research, design, and manufacturing organization. He led the company in the investigation and creation of products like CT Scanning equipment, surgical tables, landing gears, braking systems and computer controlled closed loop systems on Tomography and X-Ray tables. Through this, he helped keep Hydro-Ventures in the forefront of technology.
A successful inventor and entrepreneur, Mr. Sainte has obtained multiple patents in a wide variety of industries. He graduated from St. Joseph’s College in 1970 with a B.S. in Business Administration. He then went on to earn his MBA in 1982 from the University of Kentucky. After college, Robert became the president and owner of Advanced Hydraulic Systems, Inc, a medical devices industry. He worked with them for over 13 years before starting up Hydro-Ventures. Robert has over 30 years of experience as a hydraulic designer, which he uses to develop the unique products for Hydro-Ventures.

Hydro-Ventures was awarded $7,500 from the Kentucky Enterprise Fund and Energy Ventures in order to develop a specialized hydraulic braking system.
This innovative braking system interprets analog signals from a controller attached to the brake system of the tow vehicle. This input is then converted to a proportional brake response on the trailer.
