Holmquist Hazelnut Orchards, nestled in the heart of Whatcom County is one of the largest producing hazelnut orchards in the state of Washington. Our orchard is located 20 miles north of Bellingham Washington next to the Canadian border, just a short drive from the Dutch community of Lynden.
We invite you to visit our farm and see our beautiful orchard. Stop at our gift shop and try a sample of our great tasting nuts. Please call for farm store hours prior to giving us a visit.
Taking advantage of the rich soil and mild weather of the Pacific Northwest, John Victor Holmquist and his son, Anton, planted our first orchard in 1928. Five generations later, the Holmquist family is proud to continue taking pride in offering the finest quality hazelnuts. Our family specializes in the sweet-tasting DuChilly Hazelnuts, as seen in the renowned Food and Wine magazine.
