It all began back in the mid-1950's, when Harold O. Bouchard left Fort Kent Community High School without completing his education. "I didn't have time he recalled," he recalled, "because I went to the farm to help my parents with 100 - 120 acres of potatoes." Being the seventh of sixteen children, Harold talked to his father into bidding for the 1955 snow-removal contract for Wallagrass Plantation and Soldier Pond. That contract set the stage for the creation of H.O. Bouchard Inc.
