The shelter is owned and operated by Communities of Faith for Housing, Inc., a non-profit housing corporation made up of ministers and laity from houses of worship, as well as several Hoboken community leaders. The Hoboken Shelter was established in 1982. When the shelter began, there were several groups that helped provide the evening meal. These groups have been with us since that time. Over the years we have witnessed their marvelous commitment.
