About Historic Overlook House
Whether you're part of a group planning a special event, someone in need of rejuvenating solitude, a romantic couple planning your wedding or anniversary party, consider the Historic Overlook House.
Historic Overlook House, located in Portland, Oregon, is a two-story brick and stucco Tudor residence built in 1927. The house sits on more than one acre of beautifully landscaped grounds with views of the Willamette River and Portland's West Hills.
The house's main floor is 2,000 square feet with a living room, sunroom, office, dining area and kitchen. The house is air conditioned and a nonsmoking facility.
Historic Overlook House can comfortably accommodate parties of up to 75 people during the winter months, and up to 150 people in the summer months.
Who maintains Historic Overlook House?
Stewardship of the Overlook House is provided by the volunteers of Friends of the Overlook House through a special agreement with the City of Portland's Office of Neighborhood Involvement, North Portland Neighborhood Services and Parks and Recreation.
Tours
Friends of Overlook House offers a guided Tour Night every Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., no appointment necessary.
