- Bob and I are originally from Colorado and we both still have a lot of family living there. When we moved to California, a portion of our hearts remained in Colorado. About 17 years ago, we purchased a cabin on the Big Thompson River near Estes Park, Colorado, a dream of ours since our early married life. We recently remodeled the cabin, adding a larger master bedroom (sleeps 2) featuring a master bath, walk-in closet, vaulted ceilings, a great view of the river, and a king-sized bed with an Ultrapedic (NASA memory foam) mattress for a great night's sleep. We remodeled the rest of the cabin also, enlarging it to about 1,000 square feet (originally 700 square foot.) The second bedroom sleeps 2 very comfortably, plus, we have a futon in the living room that sleeps 1.
