I am proud to have developed this site and to have had the ability to help showcase the works of many genealogist. Many people much more dedicated than myself have spent years of their lives collecting much of the information and photographs you will find here on HilbigFamily.com. I remember just before I created this website you could type "Hilbig" into Google and the only information that would return would be something on a German writer Wolfgang Hilbig. Now, the difference is staggering, HilbigFamily.com as jumped to the head of the pack I have found slim to no other family website come close to the amount of history and information (Hopefully I am not boasting too much there). During HilbigFamily's first three months on the internet we had an average of 9 unique visitors (Unique IP's) per day. During our last three moths we have had an average of 92 unique visitors (Unique IP's) per day; wow, in just one year. These hits are the ones that count many websites will try to awe you with a hit counter that read 300,789,256 visitors those are not accurate results of how many different people have visited their site. The numbers I have just given are as close to accurate as possible.
What does HilbigFamily.com want from you? Well, after reading numbers like that not much. HilbigFamily.com will always appreciate any support our visitors have to give. The only form of support we actively ask for is User participation. Like signing up for the Forum, or signing the guestbook, we also enjoy your emails but would appreciate signing that guestbook anyway. Let us now that you are there and support us in keeping HilbigFamily.com alive.
