In operation since 1985, Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc. of Rib Lake, Wisconsin, is an independent, non-profit, tax exempt corporation which provides hospice and palliative services to persons in all of Taylor, Price county south of Highway 8, Clark county north of Hwy. 29 and portions of Lincoln, Rusk and Marathon counties. Hope Hospice and Palliative Care has been helping people in our community since 1985. Our mission is to provide care for persons at the end of life so they may live as comfortably as possible and to offer continuing support to the bereaved.
Hospice seeks not to add days to one's life, but rather add life to one's days. Hospice strives to offer understanding and sensitive care in a supportive setting. Hospice care neither hastens nor postpones death, but works to enable patients and families to attain a degree of emotional preparation for death. This preparation can bring a sense of serenity and fulfillment.
