Formed in 1993 to inform the British public of its Antarctic heritage, to preserve and protect that heritage, to educate the public on the relevance of Antarctica and to inspire English speaking youth to participate in Antarctic endeavors. The guardian of former British bases on the Antarctica Peninsula.
