Joe Hendig has been repairing and building surfboards since 1995. His first encounter with fiberglass was in the eighth grade when he built and glassed his very first skimboard. In 1986 Joe enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his four years in the military, Joe worked with sheet metal and fiberglass on some of the military's most expensive aircraft.
