- The Heathvale philosophy is to produce wines that evoke a sense of place, using the latest viticultural techniques and practices in balance with the local environment. Established in 1865 'Heathvale' lies nestled amongst the big Red gums and rolling hills above the Barossa Valley. The higher altitude, cooler climate and ancient soils of Eden Valley blend to create a unique microclimate. Trevor and Faye March commenced a replanting program of the original vineyard areas in 1986 to produce single vineyard wines from estate grown grapes. Heathvale wines reflect vintage and seasonal variation but are strongly regional in character- rich in flavour, well structured and balanced with an understated elegance.
