Editorial Staff
Charlene Marietti, editor-in-chief, is responsible for developing an editorial posture and supporting a strategy that assures Healthcare Informatics' claim as a thought leader in the healthcare information technology industry. Charlene joined the magazine in 1997 from Datapro, a Gartner research and analysis firm, where she provided analysis and review of hardware and software vendors' products and services, and worked with MDB Information Services customers in selecting appropriate IT solutions.
Trained in the sciences, Charlene is a national board-certified medical technologist (MT-ASCP) with specialization in microbiology. She has clinical and consulting experience in large, urban tertiary care facilities, small regional hospitals, clinics, stand-alone physician offices and consumer health support services, and has held teaching positions at the Ohio State University School of Allied Health Sciences and at Camden County Community College (N.J.). Charlene received her B.S. in medical technology and her M.S. in clinical pathology from the Ohio State University. She is based in Medford, N.J. Charlene can be reached at cmarietti@vendomegrp.com
Anthony Guerra, managing editor of Healthcare Informatics, assists in content-generation and development and oversees the production of the publication from assignment to final layout. He joined Healthcare Informatics from Home Textiles Today - a weekly news-driven publication covering the global textiles industry - where he also held the post of managing editor. Prior to that, Anthony developed an expertise in technology purchasing and integration issues while executive editor with Wall Street & Technology magazine.
