High Altitude Trombone Quartet
Description
In 1999, the quartet released its first CD, "All Day Meeting and Dinner on the Ground," which features music for trombones and organ. We were fortunate to collaborate with long-time friend and colleague, organist Lee Garrett, Professor at Lewis and Clark College. The project includes the title track and major new commissioned work, "All Day Meeting... " by Colorado composer Robert Spillman.
This recording includes either works specifically written for trombone and organ or works that use the trombone in a choir support role. It also has several Bach organ compositions which display the wonderful new pipe organ at First Christian Church.
