Description
The Hanshi No Iinkai is a non profit making organisation that exists solely on revenue collected from events and donations from the martial art community.
As we get around 6 -10 applications to join each week, we repeat, membership can ONLY be gained by nomination. Further, those eligible are of reputable HACHIDAN (8 Dan) rank and hold a reputable HANSHI menkyo (licence).
The levels are awarded on a member's committment and level of involvement in the Iinkai. The nomination and adjustment of the various levels are decided annually in January at the Kagami Biraki. Membership levels are only known by members as we do not publish this information. All Founding members hold a life membership.
