Hannes is an entrepreneur with a passion for clean energy with two simple but critical goals: To reduce human reliance on fossil fuels for energy, and to make clean energy available for community upliftment in remote rural parts of the world. He offers equally simple solutions for resolving these issues with clean, green, renewable energy from sustainable resources from rivers and canals with a low environmental impact technology.
He designed a new turbine blade (International Patents Pending) which could be considered the first improvement to the classic waterwheel turbine concept in more than a century and which is recognized by international organizations and funders as a practical new Cleantech breakthrough with Disruptive Innovation characteristics.
