- I was born in 1973 in Armenia and was drawn to the world of Art through my parents who were both theater actors. After graduating the Armenian Theater Academy in 1996, I moved to New York in pursue of my artistic aspirations. I found my calling while studying Photography at Brooklyn College. The constant dynamics of life in New York City along with the influences of such photographers as Cartier Bresson and Robert Frank quickly inspired me toward photo journalism. I dove into this newfound medium and began to perfect my own voice and visual styleIts. Its been an exciting and personal journey and now, after years of work and countless images I can see and truly appreciate the profound role photography plays in my life.Please enjoy the photographs.
