About Us

It is important to note that we are not hackers, nor do we consider ourselves as hackers. We are programmers (people who write software) - with a little difference. In other words, we consider ourselves Controversial Programmers. The reason we use the word Controversial is because our software tends to be of questionable nature. This means that the software we write could be used in a beneficial manner (ethically), or can be misused (unethically). It is our opinion that the software we write tends to (in the long-term, and in a collective sense) not only benefit the direct user, but also indirect users and the internet community as a whole (IE: by promoting greater security). Once again, just to emphasize, we are not, and would not like to be associated with hacking.

This website is mainly designed for an over 18 audience, we do not say this for legal reasons alone, but mainly because people that are under 18 (especially those 16 and under) tend to be the ones who misuse our software and (overall) cause more annoyance, harm and damage. We acknowledge that not all minors belong to this group, but in our experience, we have found that there is a much higher proportion of minors who make use of our resources in an undesirable manner, then there are adults. Therefore, if you are under 18, we suggest you leave this site immediately.

We comprise of a few people, we don't offer downloads apart from the programs we create, all HTML, JavaScript and ASP (and where applicable, PERL) code is written by hand. The purpose of this site is to distribute information about our activities, and to share the software we create for ourselves, with you.
