- Founded in 1977, now in it’s 27th year, Gurjar is a well-established, non-profit organization from the New England Area, organizing year-round, educational and entertaining cultural events (Youth program, Diwali, Navratri, Spring/Summer Mela, Scholarship, Charity fund-raising, grand-parents club, Drama, Musical concerts, Poetry recitals), for more then 10,000 Gujarati speaking families. Gurjar volunteers and Executive Committee do the administrative work with no honorarium or overhead.
