- Robert B. Baldwin III acquired the Nissan Franchise in May of 1994. That Facility had 15 employees. In 1996 The Toyota Franchise was acquired with 18 employees. A new state of the art facility was constructed on the new Hwy 288 in March of 1999. This facility is located at the intersection of FM 523 and Freeway 288 in Angleton, TX. In April of 2002, Don Thompson Ford was acquired. In November of 2003, the Ford franchise was moved adjacent to the Toyota/Nissan Franchises. Sales have grown to over $70,000,000 and we currently have 135 employees. The tremendous growth we have enjoyed is only the beginning of the Houston Metropolitan area growing toward us down the 288 corridor.
