The specific purpose of the business was to fully develop a concept, later to become the current Grime Reaper® Cleaning System.
Other deep cleaning, soaking and de-carbonizing products had been on the market for many years, but the apparatus they employed was not considered user friendly and they often required high-pH, nasty detergents.
The targets for Grime Reaper® Products were to produce a system that was easy to understand and operate, that did not need specialized assistance for disposal of the used solution, that did not require the dangerous task of moving the apparatus for the emptying process and that employed a verifiably safe, balanced pH detergent.
