One of Gaia Trusts main activities over the past years has been supporting the growing network of ecovillages across the globe, and helping create The Global Ecovillage Network (GEN).
The Gaia Trust website (www.gaia.org) has for many years served as homepage for the Global Ecovillage Network. Because the network over the years has matured into an independent movement a decision, effective Jan 1. 2003, has been made to relocate the GEN website to an independent site at:
