He is a member of the New River Watershed Roundtable Board of Directors and the author of a series of popular fishing guides published by University of Virginia Press that include: Fishing the New River Valley: An Angler’s Guide , and Fishing the Greenbrier Valley: An Angler's Guide. Mike’s column on fishing in the New River Valley appears monthly in The Sportsman’s Magazine.
Guide, Captain Forest Pressnell has spent his lifetime in the outdoors pursuing game and fish with a passion. He is the founder and host of the fishing show The Outdoor Sportsman, which covers salt & freshwater fishing from the Florida Keys to northern Ontario, Canada. He is also a speaker for fishing seminars and a pro staff member for numerous fishing companies.
