- Gaston Racing started around 1986 with the W.K.A. Tri-State Karting Club, racing 4 cycle and 2 cycle piston port go-karts. Owner and then driver, Bill Gaston raced those karts for several years before moving on to the Pro-Four Modifieds division at Thompson Motor Speedway in Thompson, CT. After successfully racing in that division for several years, car owner Bill Gaston became the Race Director for that division while moving up to the prestigious SK Modified Division or NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series Division IV at Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, CT.
