Ok, so we aren’t going to resolve our transit funding crisis with a bake sale – BUT we CAN send a loud and clear message to Congress that it’s time for transit to stop getting stuck with the crumbs! On Friday, August 7, local organizations and members of the community will assemble to advocate for increased funding for transit, and to urge our Congressional delegation to fight for transportation reform in the upcoming 6-year federal transportation bill.
