In 1961, Grandma’s Frozen Noodles was founded by Robert Piz, one of three brothers who emigrated from Italy. In 1984, Grandma’s Frozen Noodles was taken over by Robert’s son, Dirk and his wife, Moni. Dirk’s cousin, Dan Piz, came to work for Grandma’s in 1993 and has been the plant manager ever since. Dan oversees plant operations and shipping and receiving. His mechanical genius keeps the machinery in perfect running condition.
