Description

We created a brand new website for Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids that incorporates our own "dbEditor" software. This software allows clients to easily update elements of their website from any computer with a web browser, with no technical experience required. Goodwill Industries uses the dbEditor to maintain a calendar of upcoming events, a list of current job openings, and an archive of news releases.

Rodney Minch joined GrandNet in 1997 as a Systems Engineer under the direction of Patrick Randall. When Patrick left for Chicago in the fall of 1998, Rodney took over as IT Director. Rodney's day to day activities include management of the IT needs of the CMC and it's afflilates, along with the 100+ non-profit organizations that GrandNet works with. When not helping fellow non-profits with their IT needs, Rodney enjoys collecting and repairing arcade games from the 80's. His personal collection of more than 22 games includes classics such as Asteroids Deluxe, Battlezone, Centipede, Dig Dug, Missle Command, Star Wars and Tempest.

Jordan Adema joined GrandNet's development team in 2003 after interning at Meijer, Inc. for two years. His focus at GrandNet is designing and engineering user-friendly websites and web/database tools that help GrandNet's clients operate efficiently and effectively. He is a 2002 graduate of Calvin College with studies in Computer Science and Philosophy, and his interests include music, film, design, technology, philosophy, and politics. His radio shift at CMC affiliate WYCE is Tuesday at midnight.
