Although only 29 years old, Chef Charmaine has been fortunate enough to gain experience in a variety of culinary fields. After receiving formal education through George Brown College, Chef Charmaine's first culinary endeavor was in an intimate fine dining restaurant, Vicoletto Café in Unionville, Ontario. James Chatto who described Charmaine as "vivacious", published an article on the restaurant in Toronto Life.

Since then, Charmaine has gained extensive culinary knowledge through experiencing the kitchens of Embassy Suites, a large corporate hotel in Unionville, Ontario, and Village Grocer, a fine foods and butcher shop in Unionville, Ontario. Currently, when Charmaine is not consumed by her catering company in Muskoka and Toronto, she can be found teaching cooking classes, conducting recipe development for the Brewery Bay Food Company in Orillia, Ontario, and recipe testing for Dana McCauley and Associates in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Chef Charmaine's membership and reputation with the Women's Culinary Network has allowed for a published recipe in their latest cookbook, All Stirred Up. Charmaine's recipes have also been featured on Global Television's Health Matters, CITY TV's Breakfast Television, City Line and New Day.
