The Church of the Good Samaritan
Description
The Church of the Good Samaritan is in Gunnison, Colorado. Gunnison is in the Gunnison Valley, an area settled in the late 1800's. Our church was founded in the 1880's, and has been Gunnison's Episcopal church ever since. We also serve the Crested Butte community, about 25 miles north of Gunnison, through All Saints in the Mountains Chapel.
As we worship and pray in our church, we are very aware that we are worshiping where heroes worshipped before us, and we try to be worthy of what they have bequeathed to us.
We are the inheritors of a strong Anglican tradition, and we are proud of our history, both in our church and in the Church. Our goal is to share God's love with those around us, and in so doing help bring them to Christ.
