|_ine0ne was a clan formed by Kochanski, a server admin for the old LineOne UT server. The clan was started in July 2001 and recruited its members from the LineOne regulars. The clan played iTDM on ClanBase but never found much success. In November 2001 Kochanski left and the clan was wound up.
The death of |_ine0ne was the birth of GoC. GoC began with mostly |_ine0ne members, the driving force being Clanleader Rage and War Arranger Pingu. GoC played mainly in ClanBase iCTF ladders, still does. Later GoC joined the Jolt iCTF League, winning division 4 in their first season. GoC UT has now played over 200 ClanBase matches and is still trundling along.
GoC ZP was formed by Modest Genius back in January 2002 as a sister clan to GoC. As they were mainly modem players they competed on ClanBase ZeroPing ladders and focused on iCTF. They met little success and the squad stopped playing in April 2002.
