Glen La Ferman - Photography & Design

Description

pulled from site's meta description

Glen La Ferman, the legendary Rock'n'Roll photographer, lives in Los Angeles California and has spend over three decades documenting and living the life of Rock'n'Roll in Hollywood. From the beginnings of the British Invasion, the Rise of Motown and Jailhouse rock, through the swinging sixties, the rockin' seventies, the screamin' eighties, to the aggressive nineties, Glen La Ferman and his Camera have been there. Although hard to believe, his website is only a mere glimpse into the massive archive that La Ferman has created over the decades, and it's only a hint of what's to come. One only has to listen to his colorful stories about five hour one-on-one photo sessions with a chain-smoking Bob Marley, leading to pictures that the world has never seen, and that might very well capture Marley's essence and character better than any before. Jokingly referring to himself as the man who made Lemmy smile on camera, La Ferman has hundreds if not thousands of these stories, that involved characters and legends of rock history, most of us only dream of ever being that close to. La Ferman's work let's us be there with them, relive the moments and walk away with a intimate feeling of having gotten to know some of the great ones.
