About us
We are two 25 year old students (physics and computer sciences, 8th semester) from Kiel / Germany. We have been interested in computers for a long time and have spend a great deal of time with them for many years now. Somewhen around the age of 11 or 12 we started programming (back then, using BASIC and a C64 *g*).
At the age of 18, we co-founded our own business (with the beautiful name of Photon Internet Services), both to finance our hardware equipment and to enhance our image as computer freaks. Beginning with creating internet sites and programming Perl- and PHP-scripts (among those the perl-shop that getDigital.de is based on), in June 2002 we had the idea that Germany needs a shop like this urgently! (Which doesn't mean that we are not programming anymore ;)
